Farm Fresh Food Supplier's Matt & Dana Pickled Smoked Sausages are prepared in Amite, Louisiana with a 3rd generation family recipe. Big John's pickled sausages are made by the Smith family in South Florida and we can honestly say you will not find a better spicy pickled sausage around. Both families make Cajun pickled snacks at their best.

We ship to bars and gas stations, the cozy corner cafe, and guys and gals alike that have been searching long and hard for a good pickled sausage. We have several to choose from and chances are you'll find one you really love in our store.

Please notice! The essential difference between the Big John's and Matt & Dana brands of pickled sausage is that Big John's has a casing on the sausages (they 'snap' when you bite them) and are more like a pickled polish sausage or a pickled kielbasa. The Matt & Dana brand does not have a casing and do not snap when you bite them. The Matt & Dana Spicy Pickled Smoked Sausage is the only sausage we carry that is made from 100% pork. The closest sausage we have to the old Penrose hot sausages or Penrose pickled sausage in a jar is the Big John’s Pickled Sausage. Picking the right pickled sausage is an art, but we have plenty of them to choose from to help you find that perfect mix of pickled perfection. The American Beer Sausage in a jar is a very soft sausage with no casing. It is full of flavor and only comes in a pint glass jar.

Note: You can always make pickled sausage hotter by adding some sliced jalapeño (hot) or habañero chili (hotter) peppers to the container when you receive it and let sit for a few days to add some heat. The hottest pickled sausage we carry is the Matt & Dana Hot Sausage. But even this sausage will not blow you away with heat until you make the pickle sausage hotter by adding some great habañero chili peppers. Some folks like to cut up the sausage into smaller pieces to help the heat soak in faster.
